Managing and reporting on the flow of the fruit from the orchards, through the packhouse and to the marketing agents or shipping authorities is the focus of our ViTrax suit of solutions. Management of batches of fruit, per grower per variety and from specific orchards is vital to satisfy the market requirements for traceability. An accurate knowledge of the production paramenters in the packhouse is critical to enable cost control – a daily responsibility if returns are to be optimized for the grower. Feedback to the grower on fruit quality issues open for improvement results in actionable steps to improve these returns. Effective pallet buildup, stock and consignment management further simplifies the burden of accountability for the packed product. The system is network based and will use information from the different systems implemented in the packhouse.

Vizier offers proven fruit sizer systems in configurations of either roller (high speed) or the traditional cup sizers for virtually any type of fresh fruit (deciduous, cirtus, stone etc.). State of the art electronic weighing and optic sizing can be implemented on new as well as existing sizing machines. In particular, upgrading the traditional rope & roller mechanical sizers to be able to do optical sorting is proving to be very successful. A new addition to our range of sizer systems is a weight and optic sizer system for export grapes. The sizer functionality has also been implemented for in-line scale (check-weighing) configurations.
